Welcome to the newest health and fitness community on the internet!
24 Hour Fitness!
Here members will be able to post topics and reply to a variety of health and fitness related issues. If you are a person who simply likes to work out, body build, play sports or just go for a casual walk there is a place on this message board to voice your opinions. Please take the time to browse the boards and get familiar with it all before posting, any questions should be directed to the "front desk" forum or sent to me via private message. This community is one of the FEW communities on the web that does not insult your intelligence by bombarding members with unwanted ads and popups. This community will also do it's best to remain "troll free" and friendly for it's users.
The community being so new will obviously be somewhat slow at times, but in time as we get more and more new members joining up the activity level will increase also you can be sure of that. Please try and be somewhat patient with this new health and fitness community as I think you will find it to be well worth the wait.
Listed below are a list of rules and guidelines that I ask all members to try and follow to the best of their ability, doing so will make the forum a fun and enjoyable place for all and make my job as administrator that much easier.
If by chance you should have ANY questions what-so-ever please feel free to contact me via PM and I will do my best to answer any and all questions that you may have in a prompt manner. Lets get started...
AVATARS - ALL avatars must be no larger than 180x180 pixels in width and length. The system will not resize your avatars for you so you will have to worry about doing that yourself and hosting it yourself. Avatars that I feel are too large will most likely be removed so be aware when you create them! Please do not use any violent and extremely pornographic images as your avatars or they will be removed and you risk being banned on the second offense.
SIGNATURES - Images in signatures ARE allowed as well as text. Please note that the same rules apply to graphic signature images as does avatars regarding explicit content. All graphic images used as signatures must be NO LARGER than standered banner size or else you risk having it being removed by the community administrator.
POSTING - I realize that this message board contains a very large number of forums and that finding the proper forum for your topic can be difficult. I do ask that you please try and post your topics in the appropriate forums (or sub forums) as much as possible as having to move them is something I am not keen on doing.
PARTICIPATION - A forum will only be as active as it's members. If you join this community and do not post nor take part in any conversation do not expect much to happen. Never be afraid to post your thoughts as your opinions are valued as much as anyone elses. Remember, the more you post the more you encourage someone else to reply and before you know it you have everyone wanting to get into the action.
TROLLS - Every now and then we will experience what we call "TROLLS". These are members who's only purpose is to join up and cause trouble at everyone elses expense. If you encounter someone like this I ask that you notify me at once so that I am able to take the appropriate action.
RESPECT - Last but not least we have the most important rule..RESPECT. All members here (except trolls) are valued and all members should be treated with dignity. As human beings and free thinkers we all have varying opinions, sometimes very opposite. I encourage debate and I ask that you respect anothers right to have a different opinions, attacking others with name calling, racial slurs and threats will NOT tolerated.
These are my expectations, which by the way can change at any given time or new ones added later on. I hope by reading these rules it will encourage you to join us in our community and share your opinions and thoughts about health and fitness with us. If you have any questions that are not already answered here please let me know.
Thanks everyone and enjoy the forums!
Karen
